circles (again)

k, starting to work on circles when im in a nice open area and not on a damn dirt road. I almost never stunt on paved roads, its all in the dirt. Can help when wrecking... atleast I think it usually works in my favor. But ya, workin on em.

I got around like 2 circles last time I tried, but they are wiiiiiiide circles. I mean like 20 feet probly. I find that I can do them going faster a little bit better. Slower ones I tend to fall into the circle more. I probly just have to learn the circle balance better. Sometimes I start to get them really tight, but I fall. Gotta keep at it!

Any of you guys rocking circles yet?

Re: circles (again)

I"m workin on mine, they are about 14 feet in diameter. At first, I would just turn to much and drop it. but I'm getting about half a turn right now. someitmes it's a lil hard. Still trying to learn to control the brake. I'm really consistent with staying on the bike, instead of hoping of the back. When i don't cover the brake, I normally just fall bak and pull my fingers againest the bars

Re: circles (again)

Alright, I gotta ask you something

When your doing circles, does the bike sometimes tunr to much, and dive? if so, how do you correct for that? I've gotten 3/4ths a circle now, but i still can't kep them coming around.

I guess I'll just have to wait to get my new stunt bike up and going.....

What's your opinion on suspenions? I've wheelied both kinds, and it just seems that suspension bikes are generally easier to get up, but harder to keep up, would you agree?

Re: circles (again)

I like hard myself, but thats just preference on the rear suspension. I like front suspension. Ive wheelies both too. Come down to what u like... Im not totally sure.

When the bike dives in or falls into the circle, it just means you leaned it too much. Sometimes I can correct it by sticking my knees out and leaning over and stuff, 50 50 chance it works though usually it seems. Im getting better though... so the odds are sorta going up. The tighter the circle i do, it seems like its more likely to dive inward. I'll keep trying, but today I stunted on my zx9... and the bicycle seat is reallllllly starting to hurt my butt. Like seriously, I have bruizes and blisters and **** from that hard *** seat.

Re: circles (again)

ya know dude, you can just buy a new seat. I bought a gel seat for 7$, best upgrade to the bike. Just go upto a walmart, or hardware store, and go striaght to bikes, and buy the biggest seat you see. It'll help

Still workin on my circles....

Re: circles (again)

Luckly for me.. my bike came with a nice seat.. but its starting to rip cuz i keep on launching my bike when i loop doing a wheelie..

Ive ridden my friends bikes that have hard *** seats on them.. i casnt stand it..

thats my 1) rule for my stuntbike : it has to have a good seat.. without it.. your consintrating on how to not hurt ur *** instead of on the wheelie or endo

yeah, me new bike has a hardass seat, I should pick up a new one up at the store today...but I'm kinda lazy....

BTW, my new bike is almost TOO stable to do circles on, I'm sure it's my tire pressure, so I"ll up that a lil bit Before I try'em again.

it also makes it harder to bring up though... it's a trade off.

high pressure=less stable, but easier to bring up.

I'll just add some next chance i get.

Low presure makes everything harder. All around bad. The higher the presure, the better you can do everything. Low tire pressure sucks on a bicycle. Completely oposite with the sportbike.

After riding with tires kinda low guys, pump ur tires up to like 80PSI and try it. I bet you will feel a MAJOR difference. Way easier.

Re: circles (again)

maybe 80 is too high for you guys. Im almost like 200 lbs. I leave mine at 80 all the time. I really do think that, high pressure is best.
