Re: And it begins...
im trying hard to make sense of this retardedness in here. if youre asking which is best for just stopping the bike in general. your rear brake doesnt do **** in terms of slowing the bike to a stop, it has two levels, barely doing **** and locking up. your front brakes are about 80% of your total braking power. thats the brake on your right hand that slows the front tire. as for a handbrake, left side controlling rear brake, they work the same as the rear foot brake. if you cant modulate throttle and front brake without ******* each other up, you need more time just general riding. i dont know what kind of stunts your attempting by yourself but at this point it should prob be none cuz it sounds like u dont have a ******* clue of what your doing.
edit: i thought you were talking about a real bike. disregard most of this post except for the braking explanation

That's the best way to go though right...start out absolutely clueless and learn from your mistaaa.....crashes!?

Re: And it begins...
i pray to the right god i dont die on a fiddy. that would an awful way to go out.
Re: And it begins...
no not clueless. i dont know how to talk to a 50 rider cuz that **** is just a toy and i dont take them serious. but as for big bikes, you read your *** off and watch tons of videos and if youre lucky you have local ppl that are already real good that you can watch and learn from in person. ppl that just go into stuntriding with no general concept of how to control a motorcycle usually get hurt but if you manage to die on a 50 im goin to award you the stuntlife retard of the year award.

LOL maybe not awful, but definately ridiculous

Re: And it begins...
no sticky buns ur hearing me all wrong. the last thing u should be on is a big bike lol. however if u want some real advice, get rid of that 50 theyre worthless in my opinion. u need a ttr125 or crf100/150. something a bit bigger with a clutch.
Re: And it begins...
i agree with the crf100 or something with a clutch.. i bought a fiddy rocked it for about 2 years... bought a crf100... i feel the fiddy didnt help at all, even though people say it will help you with brake control.. The Crf100 will def. help more than the fiddy.

Re: And it begins...
im 5'6 160... and trust me a 125 is not big at all. youre short changing yourself on that 50, trust me it does nothing to help you transfer up to a bigger bike. wheelying on a 50 and a big bike are absolutely nothing alike. a 125 or 150 is not that powerful and not that heavy, nor do they sit that high. you want to learn how to clutch up and catch it with the brake, ur gonna get to used to yanking that 50 up which you cant do with a big bike. plus i believe 50s learn you bad throttle chopping habits.
Re: And it begins...
holy ****, from the pics i probably would've never guessed you were on a 50. that front brake is not gonna do **** when you hold the gas on, if anything the front tire will just skid and lowside you. i had one a while ago and yes they are fun but you're not gonna get good on that then transfer it over to a big bike

There are tons of people that power-wheelie on "big-bikes" too, but I suppose the sooner I learn clutch the better ... damn, now I don't know what to do ... look for a different bike?! who's gonna hook me up?! hehe
