thinkin bout doing the same, just gotto find a part # and someone who can do it..

 

Tried it out yesterday and the cap is not an issue. I originally wanted a flush mount but there was a miscommunication between myself and the welder so that is just how it ended up.

lol theres a story behind the orange peel but i def like the way it turned out

 

got mine from a local chopper harley shop and have a bad *** welder... i can look at the pakage of mine and see where u can get one.. mine came with the bung that gets welded in and the flush mount

 

I shoulda just had your welder do mine too but I was in a hurry and didn't wanna be down too long. There is a custom chopper shop right down the street from me and he had it done the same day. I really wanna get that flush cap though. maybe next winter I'll get it redone
