I remember seeing people post up that they put 600rr tails on their F4i's. I got a decent deal lined up for a couple of 600rr tail sections but before just shelling out the dough, I'd like to see whats necessary to get it to fit. Are there any mods that need to be done or does it just bolt right up? And is it gonna be ghetto where I gotta zip tie them on or can I bolt it up to the F4i subframe? Appreciate any advice and pics if you got em

ive only seen it done never worked on it myself. I believe the fairing almost blolts on, but the exhaust is tricky. looks clean

my bike with 600rr tail. just takes a little cutting of the underside to fit around the round bar mount

 

get an 05/06 tail the 03/04's look retarded. ask turtle i gave him an rr tail and he put it on his f4i. hes got some pics of it on his myspace if you have it.

 

Thanks mayn. **** I dont know if Im feelin the rr plastics on the F4i. It kinda looks like poop with that big *** gap where the seat mounts and the fact that you gotta zip tie the **** on. Im all for zip ties but iono

Id love to get the 05/06 but homie has 2 03/04 tails cheap which is why Im looking into this. Ima check out turtles myspace if its not private.

**** I wish the dude has 1000rr tails. Not to sure I like the big *** gap by the seat but im gettin em anyway as a backup.

 

got one on mine.....just has to shave a little off where the tail wraps around the roundbar/subframe and had to cut out for the tailsaver tabs...not bad though and i think it looks dope.

 

you got a pic of yours I bought the tails already coz they were so cheap but just like to see different pics lol.
