F4i Practice
Re: F4i Practice
I never ran low pressure?
I get why guys do it, but it just didn't feel right. Even with 20psi it feels dull and unresponsive to me.
I also can't ride a slow sit down for **** though either... LOL

Re: F4i Practice
yea.. I get why..
And I know it's a big ongoing joke if you are running low pressure and **** too. I'm not playing into that at all. I just personally never liked the feel of it?
i run at least 30PSI, and I know some guys that run like 40!!I'd rather have it move quicker when I steer it.
But having said that.. maybe if I drop it to nuthin I'll be able to ride a decent slow sit down. I dunno... if I clutch up a sit down with a little speed, and then start to use the RB and slow it down that way, it works out better than trying to idle one right off clutch up.....of course I haven't ridden in forever either so....
LOL
Re: F4i Practice
Well it's just a joke meaning you're a squid. I personally now can't use low tire pressure makes circles harder to do ... I learned on low PSI before i got circles but like 20 back in the day it wa slike 15 lol
Re: F4i Practice
killing it bro! glad to see you trasitioned to HB nicely... just add a couple pounds of air each time you ride and before you know it you'll be over twenty.
what kind of master do you have?

Re: F4i Practice
I wanna get a better one, I heard if I can get a hold of a 1000RR master I can move the clutch and handbrake real close. and it'll be insane stopping power.
I was attempting merk steps last night jumping back onto seat stander, but the bike kept going every direction
-- but, all night I was rocking 25 pounds of pressure.

GSX750... I can't even slow it down unless I use almost three fingers.

Re: F4i Practice
same here I like that setup. The bike I just bought has one of those and its *******, I have a brembo but I really don't even want to take it apart and install the brembo because its butter already.

Re: F4i Practice
thank you.
the only reason I thought to do it was I saw Dan Jackson do it in Ride of the Century on the freeway, and a couple tries later I was doing it. I don't know how he or anyone steps off on the freeway but anyways thanks Haze.

It's about damn time kelm!
But definitely run more pressure, looks like you have 10psi in there
keep practicing, then one day you'll be rocking a SS down the freeway and think "**** it imma drag my foot"
good way to split peoples wigs dragging your foot past them at 80mph

Re: F4i Practice
Thanks man... I appreciate it.
I still need to get idle more on lock, I'm not consistent enough yet -- as much as I would like to be, and I wanna be able to ride around the lot in a SS and never have to set it down. No circles or anything, but I just wanna be able to turn. All in due time.... It was def. easier the last time I went out and I had bumped it up to 25 pounds. Can't go anywhere but straight if your riding on a rim!
