i re-did my lip on the back of my gas tank cuz i got tired of re-gluing my tank pad everytime i rode. here it is now, this is for you jb, and i figured everyone else would want to see it too......and yes it is welded on.

Just i woud be scared of it on frog to 50/50 or violent jumps like this, i already kill my *** with no lip so i guess this shoudn't make it better LOL

i dont do many froggers or a lot of tank combos so for me it helps the most in my fast spreader/50/50 tank O's

i have aluminum pipe apoxyed on mine

 

made it out of a few scrap pieces of bendable stock here at work. bent it to the shape of the back of the dent and then welded it, spraypainted over the steel piece and welds so they wouldnt rust then covered it with my tank pad:YEAH

I originally had a tank extension much like darricks but it hurt my thighs when id go from spreader to ss. I got a 1" pipe about 6" across, just big enough to support my tailbone and although hideously ugly, it works great.
