Ugh.. Guy's I need help. I've seen it done on youtube and what not so I went at my tank with a mallot. It was actailly looking good..until the gas smell got stronger and stronger. My GS500 has a metal vent hose that runs through the tank and when I pounded on it, it bent/broke it's weld/seal at the bottom of the tank, spilling gas everywhere. WTF is the purpose of this line going through my tank/can I have it taken out completly?

06 636 tank lips i made, didnt take any pics of the construction but they came out great and are super comfy

haha cheers man, also the black stuff on top is outdoor window sealant, takes a couple a day or so to set but mad grippy, doesnt come off or rip the **** out of youre pants
