i though about switching mine to clutch on top i (was) having trouble clutching it in tank o's so i rode clems bike with clutch on top and do to natural instink i was feathering the clutch just riding a straight sitdown because i thought it was the hb

I originally had mine HB on top, and it was that way til about a year ago...

I learned HB coasters with it on top too...

I ran mine similar to guru's with the HB on the inside of the fork tube, actually i still do sometimes (depends on which bike and which clipons i have on)

Im with you guru , when i bought ****** bike yesterday i tried it the other way all day and couldnt do it. every time i stepped of the back in circles i grabbed a hanful of brake instead of clutch and slamned the bike down haha. I swithed it soon as I got the bike home.

cheers man im gonna try that this weekend. im struggling to do clutch and break cus i lost the top of my middle finger so using that on the brake at the bottom is hard. cant put much force into pulling the break. this way might make it better for me. so you use the two end fingers for the clutch and the other 2 for break? sorry for keep asking i just wanna get this right.
