Re: Lean angle!

nice pics. i love that sitdown.

gotta watch that lean....i ran outta lean on some high speed SS o's on tony's 636......threw the bike straight up and down fast and i barely saved it with the clutch. and by save i don't mean stoped from crashing, i just mean stopped from dying!

i guess i ran out of tire and curbed the rim on the ground! not a fun situation.

Yeah i bet. I cant deal with snow or weather below freezing. I dont know how you guys do it. I need to get a better pic though.

Its already geared -1+1. I really like stock bikes for the street. This pig is difficult to clutch in 3rd or higher which is stupid for damn near 1000cc. The old 03 gsxr6 I had could clutch 3rd all day. The 929 seems to have one heavy *** front end or something. If I gear it, I'll lose even more MPG, then I gotta listen to the high revs n **** too, which is annoying. All about trades off I guess. Im probably gonna sell the 929 for the 04-05 zx10. Damn thing gets close to 40mpg and clutches every gear!! You can chill at 4k rpm in 4th gear and drop the clutch right to BP......beautiful.

it's not that bad. snow is the only problem.

i ride year round here in indiana and it gets cold. we occasionally have snow equal to the east coast, but i know you have a season that you get dumped on hardcore from the ocean.

i would get out the shovel (or quad with a plow) and plow the lot then salt it down really good the day before and just keep it salted.....you can get one small area nice.

oh crap, i just thought of a good idea....tony has one of those huge squirrel cage heated blowers for his shop, that would work awsome keeping the pavement warm in an area. might have to try that this year.
