**** man i think that would be to much. i tried puttin the new gas tank on today but it leaked bad i need a new fuel pump gasket but i put the old tank on and no leaks gasket works good on the old one, wierd. a soon as i get a gasket for the new tank. were doin the body work and paint on my old one. did u get all that haha

so now when the bike falls over, not only will the tail get rashed, but dented also.......looks good though

will see but learning circle i dropped my **** about 1000 times and never smacked the old tail on the groung. the sickinnovations cage works very well not letting the bike roll up on the clipons or tank or rear fairing. plus i can just bang the dent out grind it smooth and polish.

yeah, i heard that with the si, got some buddys back home rocking them that said the same thing, i know with a fi on a gsxr the tail is always getting touched, not badly, but it does get scuffed up

my buddys got a 04 gsxr 600 with a fi cage and that dam thing rolls over all the time,even on the smallest of drops....fi cage is ok if you dont drop yer bike at all...but my si cage on my f4i is the ****...hasnt rolled over at all yet.....

Who cares if it gets hot? It's not like he rides barefoot... The bike isn't a gsxr with the si cage the bike has never touched the tail so it won't dent. Even if it did it could be hammered out and repolished so whats the difference? You really have to hold the piece in your hand cause it's very thick aluminum too not like thin sheeting... It's like 1/8th inch would you say scott? It's a pretty stout piece...

Scott lets seriously polish the gas tank! I'll fix the dent and put grip tape over the area we fix and polish the rest! It would be so baller.
