yea man i was suprised, i was expectin a hunk for 1000$ and over 20 years old, but it was running on three cylinder when i picked it up, and could still pull decently fast rolling burnouts.

SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!

So, We started cutting and welding and grinding and all the pain in the *** stuff going along with this subframe/tail conversion....

they sell an r1 conversion kit, or the tail only.

SOOO, without touching the subframe, i could have put an r1 backend on it..... bastards.

Re: 91 Yami SF Transformation!!!

UPDATE:

we started over, but used the old broken r1 frame as a guide and BAM, made this ****. A homemade 02-03 r1 subframe, fitted to the fzr... Its solid to. Thinkin about making one for my r6 now. And all the peices are ready for clear coat except the tail. Tails gonna have the tear design on it.

Re: 91 Yami SF Transformation!!!

ALLMOST DONE!!!! :YEAH

Here it is, with the tail mounted to the NEW SOLID subframe, and all the fresh paint done. All Thats left is trim a lip into the seat, re aploster the seats, and hook up the lock for the rear seat.

These pics are of everything sitting where it goes, not all secured into place. Gives a good idea of whats shes about to look like. PLUS the wife loves it

What ya think?

oh and i gotta find where to put the resivor, and put all the wiring back in the undertail
