ok theres the deal i bought a 905 cage off ebay from some guy and he says it came off a 02 R6 just unbolted it off the bike. well thing is i have an 02 R6 and this cage will not line up at all on the mounting holes seems like the front hole on the cage is 2" off from the mounting point on the motor mount. so i just need a few pics of this cage mounted to see if i am doing something wrong here so if i have the wrong cage.

 

chances are the cage is bent to ****.. it's used correct?

thank u that pic helps me out alot i have the wrong cage i think its for a R1 or something maybe a 03-04 R6 kinda sucks now i am stuck with a cage with no need. ya i have frame sliders now and i had to cut out the plastic to put them on and looks like u do the same with the cage. BUT* the cage i have now where the mounting hole that should line up with the same hole the frame slider went is like two" up from that.

 

I have a 03 R6 905 cage that looks completely differant from the the 99-02 and looks like it would probably line about 2" off he most likely sold you an 03-05 crash cage.
