Re: 905 Cage Crush

Kinda sucks about the cage, BUT the bike rode home. It was an expensive fall @ $250.00 for the cage, but it could have been alot worse. The only real damage was the cage itself. Didn't even strip a mount.

I agree to some extent but its hard to preach stuff like that whens theres guys like me ridin and my 4 team members at the same spot with MXD cages. And we are crashing alot more and in some cases even harder then this guy, and our cages are still goin strong...While this friend just put it on and now has to cut it off after one mistake, I mean how are you suppose to learn if your working on the bike after every drop......

True their better then nothing but for the money they charge and with all the new competition in the cage business, they should take more abuse then they do before their complete garbage..

Re: 905 Cage Crush

905 cages i think are hit or miss... The one i had on my gixxer held up, but never had any really hard falls, My boy dropped his 636 from 12 and off the back of his truck and the cage took a beating. Eventually the cage started to break but he couldnt afford a new one so welding and riding with a broken cage was what we did, think it actually help up better broken though

Re: 905 Cage Crush

905 sometimes fixes cages for free only pay shipping or if they can't ,they build u a new one, have to send old one in though.or sometimes they charge 60,pretty cheap.

I allways had 905,works great.with some hard hits u have to replace it.but most time free of charge they fix it so I'm not trippin.first cage I had was Freestyle after 1 crash and 1 drop just fell over I took it off and threw it away!

Re: 905 Cage Crush

yeah ive heard people doin that, sometimes if its that new theyll replace it but havent actually known of anyone gettin for free just heard it... I know for a fact though that if you send it back to them they'll either repair or build you a new one for half price

60$ and shipping is 25$ that's the most I've heared them charging anyone.

If your gonna ship a cage from Canada to the US and back.......You might as well buy a new cage cause its gonna cost almost the same just to ship it....And dont forget your down time, 3 weeks shipping plus whatever time they take to fix it...Bottom line buy something built with quality not **** and you wont have to worry about sending it back!

If this was a one time thing it be different, but evey 905 I see turns out the same.....and fast
