Re: practice'n spreader scrapes =X

i am just learning spreader scrapes also and have not came down from one yet but i have to say that it feels more controled to scrape a highchair. although the only one i did i crashed. i think that was from having the j-beats bar though. the crash is in the vidieo that should be up today from orlando. Good luck :YEAH

Re: practice'n spreader scrapes =X

take your upper off. the kid i was riding with yesterday was scraping highchair and spreader like it was nothing, with the undertail bar too. he said it was 10 times better with a dirtbike light on since you can actually see in front of you.

Dont go slow if you wanna scrape them. Keep your speed up and pull in the clutch earlier.

SCOTT_Chychul has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Re: practice'n spreader scrapes =X

all you need to do is turn your idle down to 1500,, cuz i know mine is normaly at 3500, clutch it up fast from almost a dead stop, so you dont gain much speed, and keep rolling on untill your going over. Dont pull in the clutch ! Use the engine braking and that will help it to set on the bar nicely instead of pulling in the clutch and having it slam the rest of the way onto the bar. I dont have a handbrake, so once you hit the bar, pull in the clutch then and ride it out.. When you want back down just pop the clutch and the engine braking will take it off the bar.. If you have the idle set up high, when you pop the clutch to get down it wont come down and you will end up either parking it, or eating ****,,, So good luck.
