i am trying to sell my 95 gixxer for $2,000 which is a really good price. I got a guy in AZ that swears he will pay $2,000 and shipping, but i have heard that line before. theres this cat in St. Claire shores that says he will put down $100 today and another $1700 on Sunday along with an 83 YZ490. While this is indeed an old *** POS dirtbike that NADA rates at $200 for an average price, it may be fun to have a POS to beat the everloving poop out of (maybe starring in SOC4?). What do you guys think? He says he doesn't have the full $2,000.

Shipping a bike is a pain take the 300 loss

 

It's a $200 loss, but I get an old dirtbike to make up for the difference.

 

Sounds like a better deal to sell it to the closer guy, not only do you get a basically free bike but you don't have to worry about out of state checks clearing...and it's hard to kick someone's a$$ that lives in AZ if they don't pay!

I know that 490 has a but load of power. Lacks in suspension but man those things were the Sh it!! back in the day. Were down for SOC IIII using that thing I'm just not gonna be the one on it. LOL.
Probly get your $200 back out of it, if it's too much of a $$ pit.

 

got $1800 for the gixxer, but no YZ. A lot less than i origionally wanted, but I have been trying to sell it for over 6 months. So Schwartz, what kind of price can you get me on a sano factory 1 kit? I will soon have the money to buy the suspension to back up my motor.
