Question Dizz/R1 subframe brace

I heard from schwartz that you had a brace on the subframe of your R1. Can you give me some info about the brace, or if it is even worth it? I would hate loop the bike and have to totall it just because of the welded Sframe.

Well the problem with the brace I had was you'd have to drill four holes in you subframe. And It also only support it on the downforce not upforce for 12's. If your still interested i could get you the ones I HAD. But now my subframe has some serious welded brackets and gussets in place. It's pretty fierce. Let me know what you wanna do, and I'll try my best to help.

How are the new brackets working out for ya. What exactly did you do with the new ones? Hook me up with some info on the new brackets. I don't want to sitting out on riding because of the swingarm if I could do something to prevent before hand. Oh yea, I'm trying 12's right now so the Sframe is going to take a beating.

R1 12 Bar

Kraker.....R1 12 Bar....

Go to the POB stunt team forum "Point of Ballace" The guy's name Tim Barns has the 12 O'clock bar's already measured and made, and they are for sell at a great price. He also makes roll cages for your motor, and frame sliders from HELL.... This guy dose killer work and dose all the work for all the stunt teams in Dallas... Check them out for that 12 bar.... watch that sub frame on the R1 mine had to be welded from it being bent....it sucked....fixed now, but it sucked....

Might also give Adam of Sportbike Hype a shout on their forum.
he did my 12 bar and my case guards.

*which were tested out on Sunday. ***No broken frame or case cover !!!!!!!!! And his gaurds do not scrape in the corners !!!!!!!!!

Adam has also done bars and guards for the local people and out of state.

Well that is my .12 cents worth.
