ST POker Tour

Who would be down if we had a Bi weekly game of poker.

No limit Holdem type stuff... 10-20 buy in. 1st 2nd 3rd payouts...

Have it hosted at different peoples house every other week...

I love the game, just haven't sat in on a game I wanted to go back to.

WUDDA YOU SAY GUYS?????

Re: ST POker Tour

Great idea schwartz,
I think it would last....being the avid poker player I am.
I have never seen it fail.....pete's an idiot. You might not get the same amount of people every week you play but they will consistantly come....theres no doubt about it. When it goes on for a few months and other people start finding out about it....you'll have more and more people starting to come and play....Like, I bring my cousen and he brings his buddy.

I'm not saying it wouldn't be fun, but think about it, do you REALLY wanna play a game of poker with your friend's cousin's aunt's nephew's college roommate??

it'll be fun for a while, but like all things it'll become boring and then become a chore

Re: ST POker Tour

See Pete I am tellen you... You're about 1/2 a year away from hating everything...

I wouldn't expect you to undetstand having fun with poker... If we had 3-10 games that were fun that would be worth the effort. You're gonna be dead one day why even leave the house?

Poor Pete...

See pete, yes I do want to play poker with my friends cousins aunts nephews college roommate......why pete? Because I want to have fun and take all his money and or lose all mine to him.

Maybe you should jump on one of the million online poker sites and learn how to play.....This could possibly put money in your pocket. It's not going to be much money to us adults....but a nice little chunk for a young guy like you pete.

Personally I would like to take you down.......and make you hate the game for a reason....But you never know? You take me down and then all the sudden you have a new found love for the game....pokers funny like that.

I would stop looking at this so close minded pete and take it for what it is....A chance to hang with experianced riders and freinds, and possibly put money in your pocket at the same time.

My 2cents

right, for 2-6 months

Maybe you should jump on one of the million online poker sites and learn how to play.....This could possibly put money in your pocket. It's not going to be much money to us adults....but a nice little chunk for a young guy like you pete.
yes, and maybe monkeys will fly outta my butt!

Personally I would like to take you down.......and make you hate the game for a reason....
hate the game? no, you got it all wrong.

i'm a realist, and the reality of the matter is it WILL get boring after a while (like all things do)

if you wanna play for 2-6 months(maybe even a few years if your lucky) go ahead and do it, have your fun.

just don't act like it'll last, cause me and you both know never does.
But you never know? You take me down and then all the sudden you have a new found love for the game....pokers funny like that.
OR! i could teach those monkeys that flew outta my butt how to wheelie a bicycle

I would stop looking at this so close minded pete and take it for what it is
i could say the same to you. take it for what it is, don't act like it'll last cause it won't

....A chance to hang with experianced riders and freinds
i do that already

, and possibly put money in your pocket at the same time.

My 2cents

i'd have to have money to earn any money.

Re: ST POker Tour

2 years ago (my freshman year) i learned that a bunch of my friends played halo. well, one of them (tom, he drove me to the rec lesuire show and was doing stupid *** **** on "bruaty"'s BMX) was having a halo party. there were four teams of 4, and us freshman were looked at as underdogs, all the upper classmen thought they were hot ****.

our freshman team, consisted of brodie(very good), tim (slightly better than brodie), myself(between average and good), and ryan mcgriff( n00b)

when all was said and done, we kicked thier asses on just about EVERY match, you shoulda heard of many times "who the f*ck is T??!?!" was yelled(T was tim's name)

we had a great time, and another halo party was planned, and another, and another.

the first 4 halo parties were ****** fun as hell, on a couple of them all the players chipped in for food/drinks and a small cash prize to the winner of a tournament.

well, over the course of the past two years, we'd had more and more. but like ALL good things, it came to an end, and i don't think there has been a halo party in 6 months.

was it fun while it lasted? of course

was it worth the trouble? hell yeah

did it last forever? nope.
