That is very sad, but not to be rude, look at anything in your house and it was probably made in Asia..............so you've already donated. GM, FORD & Chrysler donated more than 10 million to Sept 11th familys, Asian car companys donated "ZERO". I'll still pray for them and the loss of life, but they already have all our money.

You thought september 11th was bad, or even the amount of soldiers that have died in Iraq....not even close to 22,000. This doesn't need to turn into "oh well we helped more than any other country" and just check box and feel good about ourselves...thats a lot of people.

if some of these poeple saw how we lived with our houses and cars and bikes and boats and all the things we have...they would probably shoot themselves

Just for the record, SEPT 11th was caused from people over THERE and I lost a good friend in the towers...............The Tsunami caused by mother nature, try comparing apples to apples Tree Hugger. BIG DIFFERENCE MY FRIEND

R1dude that is a pretty weak copout if you ask me...we spend literally pennies on the dollar to have **** made there, and then sell for 50% to 500% markup here and in other parts of the globe. In what government does the money go to the people of that country? NONE. Did you know in India if you make more than $5000 per year the government takes 95% for taxes? So those people over there who get paid squat get that little bit of money taken from them by their governments Tax laws and guess what the nice salary goes from $5000 to $250, Hey have a nice Xmas there bud! sclevela (and some of this applies to you too R1RUDE) WTF does your brother (an individual) have to do with any of this? The Red Cross is a world wide organization that helped in Sept 11, Iraq, Afganistan and Florida. So in essence you are wrong to assume that the money TA is speaking of is going to some underpriveledged youth in Asia, but is in fact going to aide the people and programs in place within the organzation that is known as the Red Cross and distrubuted as they see fit. The Red Cross has on many accounts aided our country and fellow citizens.

As far as the good ole' USA helping everyone, I say ***** yeah. That is what being a LEADER is all about!! I am estatic to live in a country where we are in a position to help others. As far as everyone saying the poor of our country this and poor of our coutry that: How many helped some homless person this year, you know that one of I75 or I69 with the cardboard sign that says "Down on luck...etc?" Ohhh Thats what I thought!
