LOCKING MY F*CKING KEYS IN MY TRUCK!!! While it was running....

I had my Dad drive me all the way to my house, only to realize that I think my spare set of keys is in my desk at work. So then he had to drive me all the way back to my parents house. Truck running this whole time of course. I started trying to jimmy the sliding window in the back.... and well, you know how it ended up. Glass shatters easy when it's cold. Anybody know a cheap glass shop? I might as well get the windshield done while I'm at it. I'm thinking about busting it up Joe Strange style first though...


PS. I made out like a bandit this year.

 

What were you doing with your jimmy in the back window?

 

i broke my boyfriends back sliding window about 3 months ago....had to put a whole new window in...bout $300 henderson glass...

 

That's NOT what I wanted to hear....

I just got a quote on my front windshield and they said $150... How can the back be more expensive than the windshield? Time to check Ebay I guess...

 

You have the best car stories. You should be more wordy. Yard litter with beer bottles, Stumling to car in the morining, locking keys in car.

Check with some junkyards. I think I paid like $20 bucks for side windows to my old '85 suburban. If you don't mind driving up here, I can find a guy who'll install it cheap.

 

b/c you cant replace JUST that little window if it's a slider, you have to buy the WHOLE window. through henderson it's like $300. with the hook up from our friend it was like $250.

 

Or you could just get a piece of plexiglass and some Shoe Goo.

 

get a roll of duct tape, one quarter, a peanut, 1/2 lbs of feathers, a frog leg, 6 pebbles and a peice of paper and meet me out back in like 5 min!
