WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAMMER!! He posted some stuff for sale on stuntlife forum.

MEACHAM, goes by the name Ben....paid him paypal on Oct. 6, 2003 for a gixxer screen & Hugger and he said he shipped them out through mail boxes etc. I asked him for a tracking #, but he said he didn't get it yet and he would email me it....well i contacted him at least 4-5 times and he kept stating that he would email me the tracking #, but to this day Oct. 26, 2003, i still have yet to get that #. Last I heard from him was that he never shipped the items yet cause he needed to remove some decals from the screen and said that he would call his shop to see if the items had shipped? doesn't make any sense, and just kept giving me the runaround. filed a claim with paypal, guess i'll have to wait to get my $$ back.

anyone else deal with this same guy?

 

I sent him $350 for some forks/triples/brakes ect. for my tlr. Hasnt been enough time to pass judgement on him. We'll see, I talked to him on the phone and he seems to be a pretty cool guy, but if things dont look good on this deal, i'll just do what i always do in these situations (i've been screwed more than once) I'll just call the fredrick MD police department and get them to personally inform him that fraud through the mail is a federal offence and **** (i always send a money order). Everytime i have done this, the other person always either sends my **** or sends me my money back. I'm sure ben will come through, he has been a stand-up guy on this board so far from what i can tell.

 

Good luck, PD's suck, just hunt him down and cut off a finger, that usually does it.

 

Wow. 20 days is entirely too long. I've been looking at some stuff he has for sale. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully this works out...

It's been in the mail since last week, if you dont already have it, you'll have it very soon. you have my word, or I'll give you double your money back!! Making this a public gaurentee!!! ..... sorry about the delay and the tracking number thing. The FBI has gotten a warrant for my website (which is confiscated now) and they got a search warrant for my tapes, and computer, ect. and I have been in and out of jail for the last week. they think the site has illegal **** on it and they are not playin.

#4. TL forks, triples, ect .... dude, when you call, leave a message, cause I dont recognize the area code and you dont leave any info, so I dont know you called. When I try back the number, it says "cant accept call from blocked ID", my phone has that permenent deature and it's always blocked when calling out. However, I DID recieve your money order, and I have not deposited it yet (because of reasons I stated above about being detained)... I will deposit it tomorrow hopefully. Regardless of that, I still have your parts together. I got the forks, 6 piston calipers, and clip ons. I am gathering hardware and stuff too for you. I appreciate your comment at the beginning of this thread. You are right, I am a straight up guy ... If I was screwing everyone, then I would have already done it. I have everyone's money already, so I could just say **** all you and never respond. Obviously this is not the case. Everyone is getting their ****.

that **** aint funny dude ... It was our stunt team website with everything you always see on any stunt site (pics, videos, news, ect) .... but there's something they are looking for, and they are screwing up a lot of **** to find it ...... we'll see

What reason did they give you for taking your computer and puting you in lockup?

 

I just talked to meacham on the phone for like 30 mins and he told me in detail about everything. Says everyones **** should be sent out friday. He lives about 1 1/2 hrs away from his "parts yard" or whatever. p.s. my order was for forks/triples/calipers/clipons/steering damper/one of the master cylinders (brake?)....and i think left or right side control pod, whichever one you had left... basically the whole front end from the tlr minus a couple of things. Just wanted to make sure you got everything on the list when you box it up.....also, if you wanna throw anything extra in there while ur at it, I wont be mad
