My fault. That is a members only forum.
Here is whats wrote on the forum.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spring will be here soon and we all cant wait to ride. Some of you may know that every Thursday night starting at 6pm there is a beat run meet that rolls out of Brookfield Square Mall around 7pm. If you have'nt run "The Beat" you dont know what you're missing. Last year we had over 100 riders run the "The Beat" via hwy 94 from Brookfield (just west of Milw) East to the lakefront. ( thats about 5 or 6 miles) After a "wait for squids" it goes South down Hoan Bridge ( Another 4 miles or so) to Cudahay then back North over the bidge to 41. It then runs North though city streets until you get to a industrial park where we all show off our skills for a bit. All in all it was about 20 miles of shear "Rippin up asphalt". there's nothin else like it.

If your a newbee to large beatruns dont worry. Everyone is carful and the showoffs are well in front of the pack. Groups tend to break off into "Like riders" ensuring your comfort with those around you. If your a freak like me you'll want to be up front. If you simply want to enjoy the expierience of riding with so many others, join us. ALL ARE WELCOME

This year we hope to get some cams out there to vid these runs. If anyone from the area would like more info on this please email me at munchiez@sbcglobal.net.

Hope to see you there and remember. "Ride safe, but not so safe as to fall asleep. Thats not safe" and " If your headlight isnt pointing up. You cant see the stars."

Re: Milw. Thursday night "Beat Run"

hmm where to start, first of all its every wed night, not thur....and its actually a big cluster**** of people. of which a lot the people dont know how to ride very well, most of them never take their bike out of the city. You have to be careful of who your riding next to and who is behind you, because people will just wiz by you....a bunch of us generally just meet up at the sears parking lot there at the mall, and then just go straight to the spot to practice for 2-4 hours. All in all its a fun experiece, but i wouldnt recommend it to new riders....If anyone local here wants more info hit me up.

Unless I hit my head to hard I remember it being on thursdays and we sure as hell didnt go strait to the stunt area. We made a good ride of it. You are right about the clusters though. Even if someone is new on their bike noone got hurt and everyone had a good time. I just thought I would remind people of it in hopes it continues this year.

Re: Milw. Thursday night "Beat Run"

Its def on wed nights, it used to be solid gold mcdonalds the year before, then they had to discontinue it because of all the trouble, had their permits threatened to be removed from the city because of all the trouble everyone caused with traffic, then last year it was regrouped at the brookfield mall. most people ride the route that you were quoting, however a few people from my riding group just meet at brookfield and then go right to the practice spot, I have more fun stunting in a parking lot then riding around in the city.

On a side note i think we should have a certain night every week to meet with the fiddys, that would be a blast...we should pick an industrial area in the city of milwaukee, because the cops are a lot nicer and generally have better things to do....it would have to be either mon, or thur for me....

I thought you guys moved from mcydees(whereonly harley's are aloud ) to Hooters then rode down Bluemound.

OK call me a loser. Who or what are the fiddys (I'm new to the sight) and I think your right. It would be good to get together once a week to ride and stunt. I'm open to anyones suggestions.

... the "Hooters" thing never happened this year. everyone has been meeting at the Brookfield Square parking lot instead. they do usually go down Bluemound from there.

...as far as "fiddy's" are concerned.... Jesse is referring to riding Honda XR-50's. you know... the ones that look like this...
