damn key ignition on the 929 is different then the 954, went to fire the bike up after the motor swap, and the fuel pump wont turn on, ignition has four wires in the harness and the main harness only has three.

one is a power in to the switch, one is a power out, one puts power to the fan so it turns on when the senser goes off, the fourth will run the fuel pump thenyour gonna need to hard wire the pump off the fourth wire or get the 954 ignition. did you use the 929 harness or the 954 harness? did you switch the computer?

I have the whole 954rr motor kit, harness, computer, coils, everything,

the main harness has three wires (954rr), and the ignition has four wires (929)

I found a 954 ignition for 20.00 so i think i will just wait the week out, and not mess with splicing any wires, or trying to jump any wires.

if you have an open spot in the fuse block you can wire in a new fuse, thats the right way if you dont want to **** with splicing wires.

Thanks for the suggestion, but i have the correct ignition coming next week hopefully, so i can just wait, we gotta hook your group up with ours this summer for some practice time
