i dont know what the **** it is, ive crashed on concrete, and i rolled a sled at 60 on the ice, the ice bruised the hell out of me, the concrete just rashed me a little . ice definitly hurts worse.
well i got some bulshit back tires, who actually wants to do this????? the ice has got to be thick though, i dont want my baby to drown!!!!lol. if we stud the tires, i have a feild we can stunt in once the snow flies!!!
you do stud the front tire, i was wondering about that, i thought maybe you just put a dirt tire on there. im not going on the ice, i got a couple feilds by my house that would be tight once they got some snow on them. should we still stud the front for that?
In my "opinion", I would. Mainly cause if you have no traction you have no controll. At least thats what i would think. I havent done it yet either but almost seems like common sense to me.
cool, one last question, is it possible to find dirtbike tires that will fit on the rims, they are way easier to stud. if not i already have 2 spare tires all i need to do is stud them.
VMC did it last year, we are going to try it this year, you have to take and cut the center out of one tire and place the center part into another tire to make the tire thicker, otherwise the screws will just pull out. You will have to do both tires front and back. and where lots of padding, im going to ducktape some pillows to my ***
