Re: Thanks

sorry that im not as good as you joe! its a start for me and i got a couple other sponsors too. so i would congratulate anybody on their first sponsorship no matter how big or small instead of rubbing it in their face that you somehow got a free bike to **** up! thats just me though they gave me wholesale cost or something, better then running shitty oil through your bike. Can always count on joe for some awesome feedback. Let me know when you want me to show you how to ride that new piece of yours

Re: Thanks

im just givin you **** joe. no harm meant. and full fairing or no fairing would make minimal difference for me. i rocked full fairing for years. i just like the SF look better. If you want... ill put plastic back on and show you :YEAH as far as the dirt bars... i still dont know if im comfortable yet i might go back to clip ons. well see.

Re: Thanks

parker.....it's great that you got a sponsorship....use it as a stepping stone....i normally don't talk about this stuff on a public forum, but let me inform you here, 20 percent, 30 percent, even 40 percent off.....IS NOT A SPONSORSHIP, that's what they sell to dealers at, so your getting dealer pricing....racers at the club level jump on these deals all the time....if our sport laughs at these kind of "sponsorships" and turns our backs on them, the companies will give better than a percent off retail pricing, unless you get money or FREE product from a company-you cannot call them a sponsor.....nor should they be represented on your bike. if somebody wants a sticker on my bike, it's 800 dollars a year in monetary value.....if they do it in product, it is at least doubled, sometimes more.....

Re: Thanks

i agree w/ you ryan. "Stepping stone" is exactly what i was thinking. Even though your at a higher point in the sport than me... we all risk the same every time we do a show so... i think alot of these companies use this so called "sponsorship" as a marketing stratagy for money in their pocket. Vortex, Skin clothing, and MXevo also "sponsored" me but gave me nothing more than stickers, hats and like 40% off. I was going to just say **** it because I really don't care to have any sponsors whatsoever, but it is kinda cool.
