Fun practice tonight Glad I made a bit of progress before the longarm of the law stepped in. I was getting pretty frustrated for awhile there but then Brian just told me to really gas it off the clutch and after that I was getting it up higher than ever (probably not where I need to be but closer). I was getting to that next step up in the Balance point, as Jessie put it, right away instead of having to double gas it to get it up there. When I was up there I could see how I was close to where the rear brake will really come into play. Wish I would of had a little more time but oh well, there is always next practice.

And, Jessie and Brian, good job on getting closer to rocking O's while Op was working on his Z's.

I also just wanted to thank you guys for letting me roll with you . I learn a lot everytime I hit up a spot and it beats riding alone. Hopefully what I'm learning will transfer over to my F4i when I get it :YEAH

P.S. That cop was super cool, it was weird how he seemed to feel bad that he was booting us and how he suggested other spots we should try. Guess not all cops are d i c k s.

I think you'll like an f4i better, maybe this weekend il bring the video camera and that will help you to progress a lot.

I think I will probably like it a lot more on an F4i too. But, I am determined to get brake control on the DRZ. Just need a couple more practices.

I was thinking of going to the South Mke lot right after work and practice until it gets dark. I have to put street tires back on the fiddy unfortunately.

I'm not suprised . I was going to try to get down there around seven or earlier if possible and then ride until I can't see anymore.

 

Another good practice tonight for me! Started out with a barrage of crappy wheelies right off the bat while getting used to not wearing boots and thought oh boy, here we go again. But then I turned up my idle, went out again and by accident I figured out one of the things I was doing wrong. I was starting off with my right leg straight and when I brought it up I was keeping it straight and it was fighting the bike, not allowing it to come up anymore. While I was riding a wheelie I brought my knee towards my chest for no particular reason and wham it came up right to sweet spot. Op was there to back me up that I was rolling them just off idle without the engine working at all. They weren't going too far but I definitely took a huge step in the right direction. This s h i t is sweet, can't wait to go out again.

 

yep and it wasnt just once that u hit the BP u were hit it couple times
i was awake for the whole seesion today lol

 

That must mean I have it on lock... Yeah right

 

but, after I do have standups on lock I only need to learn sitdowns, spreaders, can cans, flamingo's, special k's, podiums, seat standers, circles, high chairs, nac nac's and frogs, then I will be set.
