New Puppy

..... well... i was always unsure about having any dependents myself.... but we couldn't turn away a puppy that needed a home. Here's my new puppy. He's a Siberian Husky, and he's about 14 weeks.....

ASK Chad how good Dakota was with all kids. I haven't heard of any problems like that and if so then the trainer did not socialize the dog enough around kids.

Re: New Puppy

Huskeys can be good with kids as long as you still give them enough attention and train them well. They aren't good dogs to be left alone. Most people say you need to have two of them so they wont be lonely. Ignore him and he will turn out very hyperactive. I know of at least two huskey owners who have had to medicate their doggys. But with kids, a huskey can learn to be very gentle and cautious with them if they are around them enough. Be sure to keep him away from the little monster kids who will try to torture him. A great fear of kids may enduce that will stay with him forever.

I'm not a dog expert, I just know a lot of Huskey owners.

Re: New Puppy

I told Kristy you guys need to decide now if he's gonna be sleeping with you like forever......cuz once he gets used to it, it's hard as hell to break him of that. Look at Sage.....I got a tall *** bed thinking he wouldn't be able to jump up on it...that didn't work...now I have the gate up so he can't get in my bedroom....what a spoiled brat!!!
