Now that's some pretty good miles.

Did the bike get all hooked up??

I need to find someone to adjust my valves.

Nice pic of your ride man, can't wait till I see in real life. You really did a good job on it. Hey, as far as inquiring about a bike night up by you guys, if there isn't one, start one up. There seems to be plenty of you guys that hit the streets from that area, it shouldn't be too tough and should get plenty of interest. It'll drive more people, especially a younger crowd, to get bikes and be a part of a local social group. Just an idea to kick around to other riders up there.

Yeah bro, I got to do some work on her before I hit the streets... some rough areas here and there, but whatever...as long as she's rolling.

Yeah I want to try and get something started up here. We had a bunch of spots down N Miltown where fools would hang and kick it after a day of riding or just to meet up with cats.

Just keep me in the loop on what's going on. Or if you want an opinion on something feel free to drop a line. I stopped at the dealership after work, they can't give me an accurate date when my bike will show up.... bummer. Get this man... they don't make coats big enough. I went to get a coat for riding this year but I don't fit into a 3XL. They have to special order me a 4XL... what a pain. Any brands you recommend? (ie: Joe Rocket, ICON, etc.)

only 30 degrees plus windchill.....hard to have a bike go over 150 when the air movin round its equal to minus 20

Very true... but riddle me this. Doesn't cold, dense air increase horsepower? Think about an inner-cooler for superchargers or turbos and things like that. Engines seemingly run hotter. So is it the constant "below zero" temperature of air flowing through the air box into the intake that keeps the bike cool, or is it the cold air flow to the radiator (not allowing the radiator fluid to warm up) that keeps it running at a low temperature? Then too with those condtions, doesn't a bike run leaner, and if a person is using higher octane fuel, doesn't it burn hotter than lower octane? I wonder if anyone has put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator on a bike to restrict cold air like a person would do in a car to keep it running warm.

New bikes computers change the amount of fuel needed to adjust for air temp....thats y fuel injection is so nice.....another reason y there is no choke
