havn't heard much about the comp. is it still on this year?

 

How hard is it to ride with studed tires i have never tried and think it would be cool to try it out im going nucking futs no being able to ride

 

I am studding my bike and atv i cant wait to start riding on the ice :YEAH

 

Yeah...that way you can finally blow that motor out on the ice and just leave the bike out there till the thaw.

 

I think its just jeremy doing it this winter on our end, I've got a list of excuses:

too much work,
my leg is healed but not strong enough to take a tumble on the ice
no money for studs
I hate cold weather
I hate cold weather
I hate cold weather

If you can clutch it up on wet pavement then you can wheelie on the ice, just takes practice and the right set up, i had too many studs in my tires last year. Plus i used a bunch from the previous year which i think were dull.

 

The lakes have to freeze and be removed of the foot of snow first

but then yes I will ride my ATV and you and Ryan can make fun of me

 

last year vmc were practicing i think end of dec by the sunset tavern, they have a plow there in which an area gets cleared away to practice.
