going to be up in the dells this weekend, and wondered if there is a helmet law in the state of wisconsin? I'm coming from chicago, so i'll be wearing it on the highway, but i wanted to know if i can get away with just eye protection around town in the dells??

You only need eye protection, but I don't think I need to finish the other half of this sentence. My helmet took the brunt of my fall about two weeks ago and saved my life. Enough said

oh..i totally agree. i always wear mine. I'm just going to be riding around the local dells area with my g/f on the back (we are meeting up there and she doesnt have a helmet), and I don't feel like dragging an extra helmet with since i'll be on the bike coming from chicago.(no trailor, and no truck)

or

...have a temporary license
