I'm from West Bend!!!
Legion of Doom (LOD) was started several years ago by Lucifer, president of the Brooklyn chapter. Several other chapters include: New Jersey, Long Island, Florida, North Carolina and the newest chapter - Wisconsin. LOD is the largest and one of the fastest growing street bike clubs in the United States. We are also one of the most diverse street bike clubs with members from nearly every ethnic background.
The name was decided on by the Brooklyn chapter after toying with several names. The name Legion of Doom is very aggressive and at first glance may appear to some as a bike gang. This couldn't be further from the truth. We are extreme bike enthusiasts who enjoy riding and traveling to numerous bike rallies across the United States. Members from every chapter regularly travel to Daytona Bike Week, Myrtle Beach Bike Week, and come together in New York for an annual end of summer party.
The LOD logo is another extension of what we believe in. The circle shape stands for what goes around, comes around. The red is for the blood brotherhood we share among all members. The skull and mohawk represent freedom to the American Indian culture reminding us that we are on borrowed land.
The North Carolina chapter was started in 2003 with Yahtzee as president and Superman as the vice president. We have since evolved into two regions with Asheville and Cherokee as we continue to grow. Yahtzee is head over Cherokee and Superman leads the Asheville legion. We are slowly gaining respectable, dedicated members and are one of the most represented chapters. We all take extreme pride in getting our name out. Members have created shirts, hats, and are in the process of coming up with more inventive ideas to create interest among the community.
LOD has appeared in the local news and have even owned a pool hall in the name of LOD. In an area full of skepticism stemming from lack of knowledge, we are always determined to become a household name.
We sincerely appreciate any and all support from individuals and the community.

Lol...sorry...but I laugh when I hear nicknames like "superman", "lucifer", and "Yahtzee"..
HAving a nickname is fine if it is something meaningful or true to life, as in Chimney, but these guys most likely just had ego problems and decided..."Hey, I want everyone to call me superman from now on...!"
