Honda 929 black/yellow=bad luck

Hi, Im still kinda new to these boards. I was at the show saturday and I must say I feel for the guy and I hope for a speedy recovery.

A little over one week ago me and my wife was out riding, me on my gsxr1000 and her on her fully modded 929 with only 2700 miles on it, well we decided to hit the bank on hewett not sure if its ann arbor or ypsi, anyways so we pulled out of key bank there and some jack*** at murrays must have changed his oil and didnt put the plug or filter on good, and dumped oil 3ft wide down the majority of the street, well she lost control at 30mph and bit it hard on the non-forgiving pavement, no broken bones just serious road rash. Bike totalled lower part of the engine cracked

Anyways Im at the show last weekend and im like look theres a bike just like yours and then not too long bad accident.

Welcome to the boards , hope your wife is doing better. Remember Neosporin becomes your best friend when there is road rash!

thx for the reply, neosporin was bad it did exactly what u said it prolonged the scar with bleeding and no breathing, I took her to emergency for a tetnis shot and to get the road, jeans and shirt scraped out of her what a screamer at least she had on the good gloves I bought her, she didnt break a nail is the first thing she said when she got up. lol tumbled a good 30 ft.

of course her bike didnt stop sliding till it hit mine of course.

She is one of the girls that changes her own oil in all the vehicles, less work for me
