Re: River Rouge..soo...

Which was your favorite "Daryl is a collossal dumb-***" moment?

The one where just after the safety meeting mandating helmets, he took off down the road without one like this?

Or maybe it was when he tried to do a chainsaw burnout, dropped the bike, picked it up, pointed it at the crowd, then with no helmet, proceeded to run his leg over while losing his shoe? Thank God it ran over him which steered it away from the crowd..

Or maybe it was when after we agreed several times that we'd be safer if the fiddys and big bikes were not on the road together, he decides to pull out in the road and do a damn burnout where all the fiddys are? I drove past and turned off his kill switch...

Or maybe where he flipped a stoppie 5 feet from where people and non-stunt bikes were?

Or maybe it as when he walked out in front of two bikes, causing the crash that lead to this poor dude's leg getting broken off?

Daryl, you are the most dangerous idiot I've ever met...

My wife and kids were in that crowd as well. I hope you disappear after this. And FYI, somebody caught that accident on tape that ended in that kid getting mangled and said they would be posting up..

Re: River Rouge..soo...

Hate to say I told ya so but if everyone recalls the last meeting when this idea was brought up I said I don't want DSR's name on it without talking to the lady. Way to many riders that shouldn't be riding with people that close. IMO only ones who are good enough to ride with a a corwd that close is DV8, standy, hinks, ST.

Re: River Rouge..soo...

I will say last years show much better. This year way to many non suspecting and unknowing spectators. THink the private non-thru-way was a much better venue...

Re: River Rouge..soo...

the ending to the show is a damn shame. I'd doubt that the city would let this happen again allthough it truely seemed to be the main attraction for everyone there. at least it was for me and the kids

Re: River Rouge..soo...

I dont feel the city should hold this against any one, everyone who was out there knows the risks and was willing to take them. Now if it was a spectator that was hurt than I could see the city having an issue with it... But not saying they wont...

Re: River Rouge..soo...

I must agree with Sonic on this one. Too much bad **** was happening and this was going to happen. There was no question about it. Most of us were gettin ready to load up the fiddy's when this happened. Spectating with Jay on the roof of my truck filmin a bike almost took me out. Very unorganized and crowd control was nonexistant. I feel very bad for the rider who was seriously injured and am glad that none of the spectators were injured. This happening although trajic may have been a blessing to soemone else in the crowd. Something far worse was more than likely gonna happen today. Thankfully everyone will make it home tonight.

Thanks for the compliment, but this is kind of how I had pictured this event to go, to many SQUIDS not knowing whats going on around them so concentrated on "should I use the clutch, brake, gas,or just pray" or "look at me I'm I have to be center of attention I look cool" that they don't know whats happening around them people need to pay ****ing attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. For the guy who got his **** busted up hope the best for ya.

Re: River Rouge..soo...

this event seemed poorly planed. no one seemed to have an idea of what was going on. the few loose rules that were breifly mentioned werent really enforced either. this is what happens when there is no structure. I hope the guy who got hurt fully recovers.

i didn't know the leg was that bad, ouch holy ****....but regardless of how bad it was.

Dood shouldnt' have been standin in the middle of the street flaggin, should have used a flag from the sidelines, maybe would have been a good idea.

I feel for that guy...

Re: River Rouge..soo...

Hey, how's that gonna work out insurance-wise? If he's a Canadian citizen, they have their own health care provided for them...but I imagine he's in a hospital over here...Is he gonna get stuck with some major medical bills now?

I sure hope not. Last year the city took out a policy to cover riders, I am going to assume they did the same this year

Since he is not an American citizen I dont believe he will be bound to the billa in any way. Im not positive but I don't think credit reporting agencies span across international borders. Plus the "no patient can be turned away since tax payers foot the bill law" means he cannot be denied care either. Either way I hope he is ok and makes a full recovery. I also hope someone turns their story around and tells what really happened to put this guy in the hospital because you definately were not "Standing on the side of the road." Yes I heard the person responsible say that to two different cops.
