Actually, yeah, I think it should matter what you have to say. Your a member right? Maybe the problem is no one at DSR (that has power in the club) gives a **** about what u have to say. So lets be honest, does it matter what you have to say as far as DSR goes? Nope. Kinda sad.

It does matter. Man This year sucked everyone knows it, But ronnie posted about the members cut and blah blah. He and Mike want it like last year when this club got big and everyone wanted in it me you him they everyone. Just sit back and wait in the mean time enjoy the post ******. Dude if it sucks next year I am with you but at 20 members it won't. Look at redline they are (at least the founders) are over 30 pushing 40 let them go they bitched about us 20 something people not wanting to get up at 7 on a sunday to go ride, Not most our style. I know when I hang out with members we just finish at 7. But Redline fits their needs and lifestyle so more power to them. I am all about fun drinking with buddys and doing other **** besides riding my bike. Thats what a club should be about.

Well no matter what happends I'm still happy cuz I did get to meet a lot of cool people. Last summer was my first year ryding and Busta and Ronnie were the first 2 I rode with. Yeah I did have a bike this summer, sorry no funds. This club can be as good as you make it. If they wanna drop back to 20 and just let everyone hang like before then so be it. Makes for less drama.

Ryding these bikes are a blast, I loved it..and really miss it, but it's not Ronnie and Mikes whole life..well maybe ronnies, from what I remember it was just a group of friends that started ryding and wanted to put Detroit on the map...well they did.
It gave us all something to do, either hangin w/ new friends or being the post ****** some of us are. All I can say is I'm just happy to be here...and Glad top be a DSR member.

If none of this makes sense to anyone...sorry I worked all night and am very tired.

OK

20 membas....hmmmm did i make the cut??? even if i dont i'm still leaving my pimpy sticka on:burp , i do agree that the club will be much better next year, most of us ride together all the time and hang out anyway, it'll all be the same---- just without the whiney little sissy's ---never heard so many people complain before, just go with the flow and do what you want to do....JUST RIDE :D :D

MUH peeps will do whats right.........

had to edit some of this post,,,,

I agree with you, that's what a club should be about. There are LOTS of things we can do or have done as a club, or with other clubs. We are all part of the sportbike fraternity, no matter what club. I like to party too. I think we got that covered. lol. But the business end is non-existent, and that's what I talk about. I know I know, it's not about business it's about riding. But without some regular and committed organization and leadership, the club will never reach it's potential...even if you limit to 20 membas. It's frustrating to my personality. The 30 something founders at "Redline" may not be in a drunken haze every Saturday night till 7am...but I rode with most of those guys way more than any DSR guys. Not because I didn't want to ride with my crew...it's just a lot of people never show up for rides. I'm not necessarily defending anyone, it's just a fact ya know? DSR is just proving to be pretty frustrating to the guys who actually love to ride a lot. Everyone probably thinks I talk a lot of smack...but hey, I ride a lot. I'm around. I'll help if someone needs it. I've never left someone on the side of the road. You can call me a whiney sissy...a crybaby...tell me to quit...it's all good, everyone’s still my boy. But hey, if I'm the only one with the ballz to stir the pot a little bit, for what I think is the benefit of the club, so be it.

Heres the problem with what you said.
1) You are talking to the wrong person if you want to compare DSR to a business. (got 3 stores)
2) Redline founders and members are all people who rode DSR's jocks and begged to be members, I recall a meeting where redlinemembers but mike and ronnie on the spot in front of everuone by pulling $20 out their pocket saying I am in. The rest begged emailed offered everything to be in DSR so It must mean something,Right?
3) I have been to the bar, bon fires, brawls, Some have been there when I went through some real hard times in My personal life, But Those are the people that I decided I wanted to be friends with, Not just riding partners. You need to choose what you want you want to be part of a huge friendship or a riding club. I know I will choose the friendship everytime
