Re: Wed, 7/14, Westside
I know it's a little late, but I was out of the office today..., I'm interested in riding tonight..., if someone could give me details/meeting place, that'd be cool.

I'll roll from my house at 6:30, probably to Ann Arbor and west. Then map out a route to take me back to South Lyon by 8:30.

damn....I tried to make it but the rain drove me back down south. I got all the way up to 7 mile and 275 and then got drenched. Next time for sure, as long as it is not a down pour. Anyone actually make it out there? How was it?

We made it out there, in the rain, but it is always fun to ride. If you were already drenched you should have just kept on going. Oh well, there is always the next time. Re: Wed, 7/14, Westside
Nice meeting Jane, Dave, and Mark!
I left my house alone. Rode about 90 miles (mostly west of Ann Arbor), to arrive at the South Lyon Hotel. Great roads and riding. Not a drop of rain!
A beer and munchies sitting on the balcony at the hotel. It started sprinkling as we finished our meal. By the time we payed the waitress, it had stopped. For the most part my ride home was dry, but there were a few wet roads and I don't have a front fender. I had to do some serious cleaning of my helmet this morning before going to work!
All told, 110 miles. No rain while riding!
