Yeah, Lexington is about 5 minutes north of me. We can take the Lake Shore into Port Huron and jump on 94,or take the back way to 94 and hit a couple of twisters.

Sounds good. :YEAH If you want to hit Comstock and Beard hills on the way way out there's a couple different ways we can go through 'em. The longer loop around,or we can just go in,turn around and come back out of both of 'em. Which is the qwikest and funnest. Should allow for an extra half hour fourt-five minutes for that route. If we just shoot right down there we should get there in plenty of time leaving Lexington @ 10:00. T.T.F.N....D

Re: Group ride 6-27-04

so are you saying we could leave Lex at 10 to hit those fun roads and get down there in time? or that was to head straight down only

hell I leave at 7am here for work on the bike and the weather has been pretty decent temp wise... so if we need to leave Lex earlier to hit the qwikest & funnest route.. lets do it

:YEAH The fun route it is. I leave for work @ 5:30,and I tell ya what. The temps are usually on the chilly side, but we don't have to leave that early.Bout 9:00 will probablly be plenty.Plus that early in the morning on a Sunday there shouldn't be that much traffic out so it should be smooth sailing.Lets just hope we have some nice weather. Well,I just got my Power Commander hooked back up and installed a new map that I down loaded from the site. Someone submitted a costom map that they had done so I want to go try it out and get back home for the Pistons game. The only real way to try it out would be to take it to the track to see if my E.T. improves, but for now I'll just have to see if it feels any better. T.T.F.N......D

Done deal... 9:00 it is...

btw after I installed the PC3 on mine I didn't see any difference in my ETA's at Ubly.. in fact I got my all time low of 10.3 without it and haven't been able to get down below a 10.5 since I've added it... only improvement I saw was the throttle responce was crisper... and yes that was with a map setup exactly for my bike w/ the leovinci highmount exhaust....

Re: Group ride 6-27-04

Like he said. Practice makes perfect, and he seems to have enough of that.He went 2 tenths of a second quicker than me the first time on it. I didn't even want to take my bike off the truck when I seen Supafly go 10.9 on pretty much the same bike. But at the end of the day practicing I was getting 11.o's. So a little more time and I should be able to get into the 10's. :YEAH Plus we need to quit playing around with these half *** maps and get one custome made for our own bike. My bike screams with that map I tried last night, but if you pin it between 6 and 9 grand in any gear it has some serious air to fuel miscommunication. I'm thinking about playing with the mid range on the pcIII to try and smooth it out. It's kind of damp out though.

I think I'll trailer the bike down. Anyone know where I can stick the truck and trailer for the duration of the ride?
