Happened to me once. Sitting, waiting to turn left. All the while, I was watching the chicks behind me. They stopped, I looked for a clearing... then I heard the screech of tires behind me. I didn't even look behind me. I knew what was happening... I just dumped the clutch and pulled forward as fast as I could...and BAM! Full sized pickup hit the girls behind me, slamming them 20 feet forward. They woulda hit me for sure.

i dont know about yall......but the "on the phone thing" really pisses me off!!!

Anyone know where the case is going to be tried at? I plan on writing a ****-load of letters to the prosecuter (sp?) and the judge. I'm getting tired of these ignorant cagers with there BS excuses and the slap on the wrist's they get. I want the LAW to starting throwing down the hammer, and using HER as an example!

And for that matter, where the **** is ABATE and the AMA in situations like this? To busy getting helmet laws repealed?

16 huh?? I thought with the new liceneses now days, at 16 you still have to have a licensed driver or parent or some **** with you??? Maybe I'm wrong.. Either way this a perfect example of why 16 is too ****ing young to let people drive.. I crashed my first car 2 weeks after turning 16..

I totally agree with a strong court appearence...But don't forget about the Civil Suit that I'm sure is to come...don't make it to bad cuz it can affect the civil suit. On that note...why not contact some news stations to maybe spread the word about keeping your eyes open to all the not motorcyclists. Contact 2 4 and 7 plus all the radio stations. Meltdown from WRIF is a rider and would deffinetly spread the word.

 

the odd thing is that may is motorcycle awarenes month and we have seen more this month then all of last year i think....

 

16 you can drive on your own, you can start drivers training as early as 14 and 9 months, but have to drive with someone older...

I just get more and more angry hearing about this, i hope you are doing well....

thanks for all the support guys!! well i'm out of the hospital, i had to leave early. well at least no open heart sugry(that **** scared me) well look like i have a broken pelvis brused lungs and ribs and my back is all ****ed up. i have re-hab everday for the next 3-4 months. i can't even walk, if i do i have to have someone help me up then i have to use a walker! thats great cause i should have been dead! the story was i was at the light and the stupid girl was going 40 and hit me without touching her brakes, at all. i flew over two cars in the air, landing on the scond cars hood then rolled 70 feet through the intersection. at less thats what all the witnesses and the cops said! the girl tried saying i cut her off, i had 10 witnesses that said i was in one line for over a mile. anyway her *** is mine as soon as court comes. my lawyer will have a field day on her!

from the bottom of my heart thank you for all your support even though we had our differences in the past!
