just my 2cents, but if i were you i would still go for the f4I vs. the sv650. I bought a sv as my first streetbike, while fun, they are basically gutless. less than 70 hp and 40 foot pounds of torque. at least a 600 has 100 hp with the same torque. yeah i had a lot of fun on my sv but if i did it over again i'd buy a gixxer750. it's up to you but it also depends on what kind of ridin you want to get into. I put 8000 miles on that sv in 6 months got rid of it and bought a 1000 and i've already put 5500 on that since aug.
