i think jeeps are pretty damn good, from my expirence. i have a 92 jeep and little betsy runs great. i heard that jeeps can go up to 200,000 miles before dying. i am at 140 on mine, and it is still holding strong, even with me putting 20,000 miles on it from a year ago.

Blazer's are nice.. I got a shitload of extra parts for sale if you pick one up ... or for 1500 bucks u can roll this pimpy thing..
Yes ladys and gentlemen what we have here is a one of a kind Harley-Davidson 36 volt electic golf cart, as you can see it has a custom blue and orange flamed paint job, white shagged seats and air ride supension on it. The paint is in fair to good shape it has some scraces and nicks but not to bad, the seats were just shagged with 3 inch white ****. The air ride has 1/2 up and down, front and rear, there is a 6 gallon tank on the back (with flames of course) and a gauge to see tank pressure, under the body there is a small nitrogen tank with a regulator, the vavles are electric and the switches are between the two seats.
Why be normal when u can hit the green in STYLE.. or uhh something anyway...

Well here is some info for ya Ryan. I have a 96 Jimmy. And my mother has a 97 Blazer 4x4. Mileage on mine 135,000 and it runs like the day I bought it.
Some repairs done on mine since purchased.
Transmission - Rebuilt myself $800.00
Rear Differential $1,800.00
Brakes $49.00 (lifetime warr on pads) You will change them
1-2 times a year.
Oxygen sensors. (4 of them and they all seem to go bad
one after another) $49 each
Heater blower motor $49 (note you have to actually CUT the
motor out on GM's.)
The major problems found on Blazers and Jimmys are Brakes, Transmission valve bodies, and on 97 - 99 they had a problem with the front ball joints.
The brakes are real good but from 95+ they eat front pads real quick. I have checked into it since I end up changing mine 2-3 times a year and everyone says it has to do with the design of the braking systems.
The transmission has a Convertor soleniod which MUST be replaced. You can have it repaired with the transmission in but it has to be done cause the valve put in was too small and does not allow enough fluid back to the torque convertor and will burn up the torque convertor. Then you have to pull the whole tranny once that happens.
The transmission and rear end were due to the use of mine. I pull an enclosed trailer a lot with more weight than I should. So with regular use you will not be repairing those items.
Most of my problems besides trans and rear end were at 85,000 to 95,000 miles. All were covered by my extended warranty but be cautioned every time you have to take it in it is $50+ depending on your warranty deductible.
Gas mileage is about 350 miles on 17 gal. Which aint bad for 135,000 miles.
All in all you cant go wrong with the GM.
As said before Overdose has a 99 for sale. PM him if interested.

There's a reason that the F150 has been the best selling truck in the world for forever!
OK, I'm a little biased as I've been in a Ford family my whole life (and they used to sign my check), but I'd never by any truck other than an F-series (currently driving a V10, crewcab, FX4, F250). Prior to that I was in an extended cab F150, 4x4 and loved it. Before that was a POS, '87, F150 that had been beat up pretty badly, I let that one go after I rebuilt the trans (many miles of MUCH abuse before me, actually the trans was in great shape, but a vane broke in the torque converter).
My wife drove an Explorer for a year or two a couple of years ago, and her sister has been leasing Explorers for 6 or so years. Both have liked them a lot, and have not had any issues.

XtremelySlammed, Nice golf cart!

I agree with Busta. If you actually add the numbers they aren't and haven't been the best selling truck as they all claim.
Ford makes trucks. Mercury and Lincoln do not.
GM Chevy and GMC. Add these two trucks sales and what do you get?
Bottom line the new F150's look like ****. No character just a big box on wheels.

well i would like a F150 extended cab, 97 and newer but it is not in my budget, i have found several blazers 95 and 96 between 3 and 6 grand , but was advised to wait till the spring to purchase one, cause the prices go down

Also I know alot of people with 1500 Chevy`s and don`t know any one of them to make it past 80,000 without leaking at the real seal, they don`t make a good trans to save they`re life. they`re paint doesn`t hold up for sh@@t, and the reason you don`t see old rusted up Chevy`s is they don`t make it that long!
thats my 2 cents
