I hope so, you would think a lot of people would plan on going since its the dream cruise weekend....was cruising down woodward part of the plans...?

 

Um. Because the WDC is about accordig to their page "muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special interest vehicles" My car certainly a muscle car. It's got a fair amount of custom work done to it. It's fast. It belongs. The cruise is to celebrate/relive the atmosphere and the fun of cruising Woodward in the 50s. Not just the cars of the 50s. Are you suggesting that somebody in a 69 Charger doesn't belong out there, since his car is nearly 20 years past the era? etc?

Two years ago, we had a lot with over 90 F-bodies. 85% of them were 4th gens (93+). We got lots of positive feedback and attention for our efforts. I'm talking media attetion, attention from GM and Bob Lutz, and attention from the WDC organizers...

Now I agree with you about people in minivans and what not cluttering up the road, they suck. But if you've got a muscle car, something heavily modified, or something that's just nice to look at... then you belong out there.

I'll be working at the Pontiac Cruizin Car show 10-6 on Friday and 8-2 on Sat.

 

I'm not going this year.. At least on Saturday.. I'll be at Western...

I may head out Thursday, but that depends on the weather and ****...
