Where is the best place to get insurance? The only thing that is stopping me from getting a new bike is high rates.

 

I have State Farm, and I am very happy with their rates and their service, when I have filed a claim. However, I think my bike is so cheap, because I also have them for my truck, Camaro, and renter's insurance...

How old are you?

 

I'm 21 and pay 250 a year for PLPD for a 90 FZR through progressive, who I also have my car insured with. My insurance is up in 7 days, I was planning on buyinga bike for next season, but might as buy one now since my insurance is up.

 

I'm 20, and fully insure (might change that tho) a 98 F3 for $640/year with $150 deductables. No tickets/accidents, through GMAC. That's just for my bike.. I don't have my car or anything else through them. Was the best insurance I could find.

That GMAC deal was canned. To go through GMAC don't you have to have a relative that works for gm?

i would just get comp and if ya trash your bike just throw it in a river and say it was stolen. that's MY insurance PLAN

State Farm is super cheap, but they go back five years...any tickets and they don't want to cover a bike.

where do i call to get a quote from gmac they said i need a special code to get a quote but can't tell me where to get the code i have to find it my self

 

I spoke witha rep. from GMAC and they said they called the corporate office and they haven't offered moto insurance for the past year????

State Farm doesn't like that I was in an accident and have a ticket 5 years ago. *****.

 

Goto state farm they are the cheapest. I got quotes for my 02 954 full coverage for 3600.00 at allstate, progressive,McGraff. With state farm I only pay 550.00 a year with 2 points.
