people with polished frames

I'm workin on mine right now. Got a quick question about the welds. I'm just trying to clean them up, but i'm worried about takin the weld down to far. What did you guys use to clean up the welds. Did you do it by hand or use a Dremmel or something? Also, did any of you take them down flat? I've heard that it can cause the frame to weaken.. not exactly sure though.

Deffinetly dont wanna smooth the welds completly down.. I did mine by hand but you could use a dremel ... just keep the rpm's down .. probebly somewhere around 3-4000 rpm's...

i did mine with paper, no dremel,just like you would the rest of the bike and it looks good enuf........sanded right over them.....wet sanded right over them.......then buffed right over them........
