Brake Question gsxr 750
The question I have is when I am rolling to attempt a stoppie I squeeze the handle and the bike starts to slow, then the brake squeels and sends me straight up. It is like they are either on or off there no middle of the road, also the handle will feel a little soft, and you can feel a popping. Is this because of the linings are glazed, or maybe air in the line, or is it just the way stock brakes and lines react...
my advice is to not just squeeze the brake, eaze into it
when i go into my stoppies i apply brake , and then squeeze a little harder, but not to hard, than once i get it high enough, i flicker the brakes , applying brake pressure on and off again

bro, ALLWAYS change the fluid, just cause your pads are fine, dont mean your fluid is fine, what i would suggest, is to go to DOT 5, its the ****, by two of them though, you can get them at wolverine harley davidson, you need to bleed them with one bottle , then bleed that bottle for the 2nd one, so that all of the old **** is out of your lines, cause your putting all new substances in there, when it gets dark, CHANGE IT AGAIN

the only prob with dot 5 on a dot 4 system is it tears up seals, diaphrams and rubber brake hoses over time.. (4 and 5.1 are compatible not 5)
DOT 3 and DOT 4 are polyglycol-based
DOT 5 is a silicone based
