has anyone ever worked from 8 in the morning till midnight???? just did it myself,,,,,,,crazy i tell ya.......im goin to bed now

 

that's not bad at all. i came in at 3pm yesterday and told a friend i would cover her night shift. so im working 16 hours right? wrong! my boss calls this morning and says she's gonna be 2 or 3 hours late cuz she aint feelin good. well, waaawaaa. damnit, I am SO tired and I have a headache from hell. so what is that 18-19 hours? yea, that's what i thought. anyways, i work at a hotel and i usually get long hours. it's 6:34am, and i will be here a few more hours. goodnight everyone. DAMNIT, i gotta drive home too! i swear i'll die at the wheel from sleep attack! lata.

I work in telecom, and did a lot of the fiber optic designing that went into the world trade center's. On Sept 11th, they sent us home, and we went back to work on the 12th. I worked from 8am on the 12th, till i think that saturday only going home to shower. At one point, I had worked like 36 hours straight. I had to redesign and migrate trading floors that were in the WTC to other locations in NY. Basically, 15 years worth of work was accomplished by me and my coworkers in a matter of like a month. We had the NYSE back up and ready for trading by that friday. Kinda proud that I did my part. I should show you guys the pictures my co workers in NY took from our location there. It was amazing.

 

60 hours a week for me

 

I worked from 7 till 9 a couple times in one week.....screw that....2 hrs a day.....way too much man....

 

Try work 12'ves for 96 days (no days off) and 46 of those days your *** is double backin....OH YA! Sorry I have no sympathy!

 

2 weeks ago I had to work from 6:00a.m. untill 3:30a.m. and then I went home took a shower, a nap and punched back in at 6:00a.m I live a half hour away from work so there was an hour of driving in that also. and right now IM on 70 hrs untill winter ...there goes the summer..
