Last night I was going into work and stop to go to work, when a car came into the center at about 50 mph. The car was getting closer and closer and I had to make a split decision and I damped my bike and F'ed up my knee and back. Come to find out it was a cop car that almost KILLED me. After the near miss the cop walked up to me to see if I was alright and I asked him "DIDN"T YOU F'IN SEE ME"...the cop replied that he didn't and that he was responding to a breaking and entering call. He entered the center prematurely and I felt helpless. That was a brush with death. My bike isn't all that bad, but my crankcase is broken, clutch lever is bent and there are some scratches on the left side of the body. I thought that I was going to get creamed. I am just lucky to be setting their breathing. And what makes it the worst is that the cops told my co-workers that I over reached and that the cop had ample time to swerve and miss me. But to be honest, I only did the human instinct thing and got the F out of the way. What are you suppose to do when a 5000 lb. car is heading right at you at 50 mph in your direction?

john glad to hear that you are ok! and for you overacting, like i said before you have only seconds to react and your first instinct is not, well maybe the cop will stop and swerve around me going 50 mph. you reacted the same way as anyone else would do. I am glad you are ok!

 

Damn that sucks, but most importantly your still around to tell us about it, glad your ok.

 

if you filed a police report...call your insurance company. It was not your fault...and if its written down that he prematurely got into the turn lane then he is at fault...no matter...this is not your fault and they cannot legally raise your insurance rates...

 

Thats bad luck.................they are always going the wrong way on roads and always breaking the law..................like a B&E is worth your life...............well...............HMMMMMMMMMMM MM..................MAYBE YOURS!!! J/K BRO!!!! HOPE YA STICK IT TOO'M!!!

 

I am doing alright today...but I kept waking up because of this MOTHER F'IN back spasms. I am going to call a attorney tomorrow to see what my options are. Thanks ya'll for the LUB!!!

Judge - A Oakland County Sheriff filed the police report, because a Wixom cop was involved. I haven't seen the report, but I am going to obtain a copy tomorrow. I can't wait to read it, because I wasn't their to give my side of the story...I was in a ambulance on my way to the Hospital when he showed up. My co-workers said that a group of cop were gathered in a circle...I can only guess that they were telling the cop what to say to try to cover their asses. Hey...to do you know if I have the right to get a copy of the police video...my sister said that because of the freedom of information act....I can get a copy.

 

THAT WILL TELL IT ALL!!!
