anybody gonna be at the music festival in hart plaza this weekend? a friend of mine is throwing a after party too...anyone know of any partys also????i only got 3 days to get as ****ed up as i can so i got to make it count

 

I'll be there on Sat. with a bunch of people and I'm tryin to get Chris (Cho Cha) to come too. It should be cool, wish it was gonna be warm out.

I'm going down for a while no matter what the weather is, it rained last year and it was still fun, but it will be cold, so I guess that means the after party starts earlier than we planned...it's still more fun than the same ol' ****!

 

i will be there all days even if its raiining.im tryin to find all my old boys,i lost my phone book last year and aint talked to nobody in a long time so i hope its sunny for a little bit so some people come out,gonna be freezing,im used to 90 degree weather everyday now

i live in fot lauderdale,but am from detroit,lived mostly on grand river and lahser in nw,but lived on 2nd /canfield downtown /fort and livernois in sw,and 8 and van dyke and 8 and woodward in ferndale for a few years,i just moved away 2 years ago.still got family on the east side,but all my friends stayed mostly in nw and sw/delray lincoln park,im just comin up to the music festival,i used to throw partys back in the day,i was coming up with my boy that owns abstrakt lighting but im flying instead of driving there,hes helping andy do the lights for the show why u got a fl zip as your name?you from fl?how the **** you gonna move to mi from fl?lol...i moved from michigan to get awayf rom that ****in snow..

Yeah thats why I asked, Im from Mia, spent my whole life there until a few months ago I decided to pack up my **** and drive up here for a career in the automotive industry. Anyways Im doing a masters prog now at UofM-D and when thats done IM really thinking about getting back to Fla. Something about the damn cold and riding seasons and shoveling snow doesnt do it for me. Fla is pimp, one day I'll be back there. Lauderdale is cool tho, at least you got riverfront and las olas and hahah I just remembered some **** we started at boxing night at Atlantis. Oh well yeah at least you get a nice welcome back weather wise, rain and grey skies!!!!! Seems to almost be the norm.

ya the weather will kill you up there,when i lived in nw i had a oil heater that plugged into the wall for a year as my heat,it got so ****in cold there i had to block off all exits and windows and my living room with blankets just to keep it warm,**** that ice sleet cold ****,i cant handle it..i was hoping it would be atleast 70 up there,i dont even have a jacket down here,i got that goes with a outfit but other then that just t shirts.i can never go back there to live,i go up about 2 times a summer and thats it,my girls trying to get me to go back for christmas though.....ill end up with pnuomonia and probally die ft laud is allright,but to expensive,were lookin for a place now over in hialeah heights miami shores area to get away from the high prices of here.

 

Yeah all of S.Fla is expensive when it comes to going out, $100 dollar bar bills mean your not quite to the state of "Buzzed" yet. (unless you hit one of the local Ale houses of something without the nightlife atmosphere)
Id personally try to avoid HIaleah Heights unless you know your spanish, there seems to be a higher concentration of spanish in that area. Miami shores is nice, I went to HS there, lots of older houses but built the right way before they started popping out all those cookie cutter towns down there. Miami Springs also has some cool areas and will get you away form the higher prices a bit, you may wanna check that out, otherwise if you go further south you get the kendall area and theres some nice subdivisions there but starting to climb in price again. (150-250K townhouses) Anyway good luck house hunting and enjoy the crummy weather up here, it'll make you apreciate the 90's a whole lot more when you get back.

im not spanish ,so i knwo i wont fit in,but i didnt neccesserily fit into detroit either i was probally the lighest colored guy in miles but im looking for a house under 75000,thats why were going to hialeagh hights,we found a few in leberty city ,but they are too racist over there so were stayoin out of there.i just got done talkin to my boy up there and he said looks liek rain all week and its overcas today
