you hear a bad noise in your engine... you pull off your stator cover... and you see this...




ps... yea... all that wire/insulation was just chillen in the stator cover

You ever figure out how it happened?

 

Next time you bend over to check out the engine make sure your hairpiece is fully intact... same thing happend to a buddy of mine its cooo.

screws came lose that attatched the stator to the case cover... so it started rotating... and chewing up the wires... till it chewed up more than it could handle.... I rode it till it died..... then I got it started after trying to push start it for 10 minutes... then rode it till it was completly dead then I had to push it that last mile back to my house

so... anyone got a stator laying around???

 

Can I borrow that to fix a patch on my helmet???
