Anyone know of a local company except for Comcast that I can get Highspeed internet? Im sick of paying $50 per month to these bastards..

SBC had a special for 29.95/mo for the first year a while back.
check into that.

 

I got Wide open west basic cable and Highspeed internet for $52and some change a month thats with tall the taxes too. thats good till Jan 04

They have a building in Warren off of Van Dyke just south of 14 mile rd. It's on a side street called Murthum (sp). It's the side street that runs next to Pampa lanes

Ugh, WideOpenWorst...I had Comcast for 3 years then changed to WOW for a price break. The only thing that broke was the damn cable modem. I called and bitched about it and they told me the modem they gave me sucks and never worked on their network, etc... I switched back to Comcast 3 weeks later and everything rocks again. Comcast even beat WOWs price.

Here's a possible plan: Call Comcast and cancel. Call back a week later and say you're now a WOW customer and are thinking of switching back if they give you a good deal.

Worked for me. Just my two cents
