What do all you non-comcast people have??

Im sick of Comcast's shitty over priced service...

Im thinking of going with Dish Network and maybe SBC...


Anyone have this, or anything similar....

 

You don't want Dish internet. You can try SBC but I think you'll be back to Comcast.

 

I wanna **** on comcast.. I hate them bastards.. But from what Im seeing on the websites, everything cost pretty much the same..

 

I have WOW... It still costs 89 a month for basic cable, internet, and phone... Comcast was 99 plus 54 install, and they said their price was only good for a year.


With out phone I pay 73 a month with WOW...

 

I wish I had WOW i pay 140 bucks a month for internet and cable with Comcast

 

I don't know what I pay, I just pay the damn bills when they come. The only one's I pay attention to are my credit card bills (only have two of those). But I use WOW cable, but not their phone service. For the phone I changed from SBC phone and internet to Talk America Phone and internet. It was cheaper than SBC and the service is very decent especially since it's cheaper.

 

Damn. I pay $86 a month for internet and cable with HBO. They gave me the DVR box, but that is pretty much standard with anyone. I was talking with folks at work about this **** yesterday. They said to call Comcast and tell them that you are going to leave. You actually have to say "I am going to leave and go with another company" and they have special rates they can hook you up with. What does it hurt to try?

 

I'm moving in two weeks so I'll get a new special :YEAH :YEAH

 

Ive done that.. And it all depends on who you talk to.. If you get someone stupid at Comcast, then it works.. I tried that, and it just happened I got soemone who knew their **** and waht the compeitors had for the lower prices and that their products are not on the smae level as comcast.. This is talking about Internet of course, and comparing the different levels of WOW to Comcast.. WoW always likes to talk about their great internet prices, but then they are always referring to their lower end package.. I think they now train the comcast people to understand that..

 

I really can't tell the differance between wow and comcast as far as internet goes. At home I just go for the lowest price...

 

Which level of their internet do yo have at home??

Im almost with ya. Im on the internet more at work than home..

 

I didn't take the bottom of the line, I just added the next one up for like 5.00. It seems to work fine for what I do, school and surfing etc...

 

Dish Network and SBC Yahoo DSL!!!!! Had both at my house and loved the DVR! Cheap too!

 

I have direct tv and i pay 49 dollars for two receivers, unfortunately i have this dish on my balcony but their pretty good to me. I have wireless so i steal my neighbors internet service so i cant help you there. Do the dish Chris they dont jack you around , comcast is a bunch of momos

wow will work if your just gonna suft the net but you will really see the power of comcast when you try to stream some video or dl a song or two!

 

we got dish (150 channels, 13 movie channels) and SBC DSL....

 

If you had ghetto WOW maybe...I have the middle WOW package and I get 4MBs download...WOW rules. Plus, my buddy works there, so if I ever have a problem, he just comes over and fixes it; no waiting :YEAH
