Drill & Tap TI

I have 6 Titanium plates that need 3 holes drilled and tapped into them. The hole is a size F and the treads are 5/16-18 UNC thread. Anyone able to do this and for how much? I need them done by June 21st.

How thick are the plates? I can do it for you on a Saturday. Just bring it up to my job. It's off plymouth by rouge park. If you don't get it done by saturday give me call. You can get my number from the member section. I'm waiting for my replacement cell phone to come ups.

They are 3/4" thick but only needs to be tapped about 1/2" They have to be drilled the whole way through. What town is your shop in?

Re: Drill & Tap TI

Sounds good. I hear that gun type taps with undercuts to aid in chip removal help to tap, and for drilling low speed with higher pressure with lots of cutting fluid works good. There are 18 holes to drill and tap. I'll call you later in the week.
