roomate got pulled over sunday...no registration..no insurance..no cycle endorsment..failure to change adress on liscence..wreckless driving..and driving on a suspened. Bike was towed and cop was going to take him to jail but let him walk home. He was going to miejer gas station 150 yards from the house and did a small wheelie and cop saw him and flipped out. Left his wallet at home...liscence really isnt suspended they just have him filed under not paying for his driver responsibilty fee when he paid it and has the reciept at home.
Re: Got pulled over...
I got pulled over once for standing up on my pegs to stretch my back/legs.... hands still on the bars, just stretching...
let me off with a "warning" because I don't really think he had any justification to pull me over.
I also got a ticket for improper eye protection, because I didn't have my visor down. Even though the law states "On motorcycles NOT equipped with a windshield" and my GSXR has a windshield. Fought it in court and still lost, :wtf:

Re: Got pulled over...
Yeah I've been told that hands not on the barts is illigal along with standing on the pegs while moving and for not having your visor down. Also told the sunglass do count as eye protection. Never seen or heard anyone pulled over for it but told it is all illigal.
929ers all I can say is "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime" Sux but thats the chance we take when we do one.
I know the truth hurts

um...NO...the law reads any motorcycle rider has to have eye protection if you are going over 35mph...it says nothing about a windshield
